Sullivan lawmaker has court date

(NY) A September 9th court date is set for a Congressman in Sullivan County who’s accused of smacking a man in the head at a town street fair. Representative Maurice Hinchey will answer a harassment charge. Hinchey’s spokesman says the claim is not true.
