Megan Moroney announced the release date of a previously-teased anthem about reaching a state of feeling uninterested in her ex. โ€œIndifferentโ€ is due on May 3, she confirmed in an announcement on Wednesday (April 17).

Moroneyโ€™s announcement arrives two days before she kicks off her โ€œLucky 2.0 Tour,โ€ featuring special guest Logan Crosby, in Dothan, Alabama. Moroneyโ€™s headlining dates are interspersed with shows on Kenny Chesneyโ€™s tour, which also includes Zac Brown Band and Uncle Kracker in the lineup. The Lucky artist is also slated to perform at Stagecoach at the end of this month. She said sheโ€™s โ€œheard yโ€™all wanted me to play indifferent on the road,โ€ after posting sneak peeks of the unreleased song.

โ€œIndifferentโ€ will follow โ€œ28th of June,โ€ and โ€œNo Called ID.โ€ Those releases follow Moroneyโ€™s debut album and its 16-track deluxe edition, both of which arrived last year. Lucky included the title track, โ€œIโ€™m Not Pretty,โ€ โ€œTennessee Orange,โ€ โ€œGirl in the Mirror,โ€ โ€œTraitor Joe,โ€ โ€œSad Songs For Sad Peopleโ€ and other highlight throughout the track list. Moroney is one of the most-nominated artists at the upcoming 59th ACM Awards, including in the Song of the Year category (โ€œTennessee Orangeโ€), the Music Event of the Year category (โ€œCanโ€™t Break Up Nowโ€ with Old Dominion) and others.

โ€œI've been taking every ounce of free time that I have to write and be in the studio, so I'm just keeping the ball rolling,โ€ย Moroney told iHeartCountryย in a December interview, hinting at her next chapter following Lucky. โ€œI know that my fans are excited for new music, so try to keep them happy.โ€
